Gwen (Thank You Megan)

Here's a picture of Gwen from Total Drama that I did about a month ago and have just now decided to post following the recent news that her voice actress Megan Fahlenbock will not only not be reprising her for the upcoming Daycare spinoff, but also hinted that thanks to (in her own words) "The network" (meaning either Teletoon and/or Cartoon Network), she's likely been let go from the role completely after 10+ years!

This drawing is dedicated to Megan as basically my way of saying thank you to her as Gwen is still my favorite of the original Total Drama series in spite of her ups and downs over the years (such as All-Stars which is now likely to be the last thing with Gwen in it when Megan voiced her which for me is basically an unceremonious end to her contributions to the series) and for continuing to voice her for as long as she did in spite of some possible resentment to her character's behavior in certain situations (it's been rumored that she supposedly wasn't too happy with Gwen's actions in World Tour, mainly her handling of the infamous love triangle between her, Courtney and Duncan) and I hope that she'll continue to be able to find work elsewhere.
