Petunia (Crisper County Easter Pageant)

This is a drawing of the outfit Petunia wore in the unfinished "27th Annual Crisper County Easter Pageant" which was changed more than halfway into pre-production to what ended up being "'Twas the Night Before Easter" while keeping most of the songs present on the original version of the show [1].

It is currently unknown if Petunia was still playing Marlee Meade or a completely different character in "The 27th Annual Crisper County Easter Pageant", but in "'Twas the Night Before Easter" she ends up mostly wearing the casual outfit that she's been seen wearing ever since "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything".

The original trailer for "The 27th Annual Crisper County Easter Pageant" can be found on the DVD of "It's a Meaningful Life" to show what it could have been before "'Twas the Night Before Easter" was announced two months later. I thought that "'Twas the Night Before Easter" was OK at best simply because it was it was the first show since "Pistachio: The Little Boy that Woodn't" to have Huhu Studios animating for Big Idea again and due to mostly being a rehash of "The Star of Christmas" except at Easter time and would have much preferred what it could have been instead of what it became.

This drawing is done to commemorate the 20th anniversary of VeggieTales.
